Wedding cost depends on the date (peak fall is not January), the guest count (50 is not 200), and the parts of the collection you keep or remove. A single number on a webpage would be a fiction.

Instead we send a written quote within 48 hours of your inquiry — itemized, no surprises, valid for sixty days. If the number isn't right for you, we'll tell you that, too. You should never be surprised by what a day at the hill costs.

Practical questions

The things couples always ask.

How many guests does the venue hold?

Up to 200 seated, indoors or out. We've hosted 150-guest weddings that never once felt cramped — couples mention this often in reviews.

Can we bring outside vendors?

Yes. Vendors outside our preferred list sign a brief Outside Vendor Agreement (OVA), due 30 days before the event. The OVA applies to catering, bar service, and entertainers (DJ / band). A caterer from our preferred list is required for all packages — this is a health and safety policy, not a sales policy.

What's the weather backup plan?

The red barn. Capacity for 200 seated inside, fully restored, climate-controlled. Indoor backup is built into every package — we make the call together by 10am the day of, and the team executes in under 12 minutes.

Are there accommodations on site?

Not on the property itself, but downtown Asheville is seven minutes away and offers everything from boutique inns to large hotel blocks. We share a curated lodging list after your tour, with discounted group blocks at our partner properties.

Is there parking?

Yes — on-site for up to 80 vehicles. For larger guest counts we coordinate a shuttle from a designated downtown lot (cost shared, simpler for everyone). We send the parking map with your day-of timeline.

What's the deposit?

A 30% non-refundable retainer holds your date. The remaining balance is broken into two payments — one at the six-month mark, one thirty days before the wedding. We never ask for the full balance up front.

Do you host more than one wedding a day?

Never. The estate hosts one couple at a time. The morning is yours, the field is yours, the sunset is yours.
